We
are proud to contribute to as many worthwhile causes as our budget for
charitable donations allows.
DSG holds
two charitable "Bake Sale to Benefit" fundraisers
each year (one in the spring and one in the fall). The next "Bake
Sale to Benefit" will be held on Friday, April 16th from
10 a.m. - 4 p.m. 100% of the profits from the sale
of baked goods will go to KidsAbility. DSG's first
charitable Bake Sale for KidsAbility was held in April of 2009. Our
second "Bake Sale to Benefit" was held on Wednesday, October
7th, 2009, with all profits going to Family & Children's
Services of Waterloo.

We
receive daily requests for donations, highlighting the increasing needs
of so many worthy causes. To better manage these requests, we have implemented
a standard procedure for all charitable donation requests. If you are
requesting a donation, we ask that you fill out the request
for donation form (click here for form). Please note that
we require your submission no later than 30 days prior to your event
date. Unfortunately, we are not able to grant requests with less than
30 days notice.
Your
request for donation form must be hand-delivered to
us for consideration (e-mailed submissions or mailed submissions
will not be accepted), at least 30 days prior to the date
of your event. Our business hours are:
monday
to friday - 10 am - 7 pm
saturday - 10 am - 5 pm
sunday - closed
Request
for donation forms which are received with 30 days or more notice are
eligible for a lottery-style drawing. The winning recipients will be
notified via e-mail or a phone call.
Each
donation will be for a gourmet gift basket or gift certificate. We do
not donate our catering services or fresh or frozen food.
